What is it? Importation on behalf of third parties is a foreign trade operation in which a company (contracted importer) carries out all import procedures on behalf of another company (purchaser of the goods), which will be the true owner of the cargo from the beginning of the operation. This structure is widely used by companies that are not yet registered with RADAR/Siscomex or that choose to outsource the bureaucratic part of the import, maintaining the focus on other areas of the business.
